The resort

A few steps from a bay that stays calm all year.

Wooden bungalows built the local way, with a red tiled roof, a carved balcony rail and brick stilts to catch the breeze. Air-conditioning, hot showers and, in most types, a kitchen for long stays.

Four ways to stay

Every bungalow is a stand-alone wooden house with its own bathroom and a covered balcony. Floor plans are drawn to scale from measurements taken on site.

Our garden

Pick your own vegetables from our garden.

Behind the bungalows we grow our own vegetables and herbs. Guests are welcome to pick what they need and cook it in their own kitchen, knowing exactly where it came from.

Getting here

North coast of Koh Phangan, at the end of the road.

Chaloklum is a fishing village on the north coast. The resort is 1.5 km west of the village, where the road runs out and the beach begins.

  1. Fly to Koh Samui or Surat ThaniThen take a ferry to Koh Phangan. Ferries run all day from Samui, Surat Thani (Donsak) and Chumphon.
  2. Arrive at Thong Sala pierThe main pier on the island's west side. Shared taxis (songthaews) wait outside for Chaloklum.
  3. 15 minutes north to ChaloklumAsk for Wattana Resort West Park at the west end of the bay. Tell us your arrival time and we can arrange a pick-up.
